Rune of the day Hagalaz, which I think is one of the more apprehensive runes. It is characterized by absolute destruction and universal smacks upside the head. Hail stings and can cause devastation. However, once the devastation has occurred, hail turns to water and can germinate an entire new crop of food.
Hagalaz can represent change, just like the Tower in Tarot that no one enjoys either this is the universe smacking you upside the head to FIX it and get a move on.
This could herald letting go of your past, or past behaviors that do not suit you or are not healthy.
I find this an amusing card to draw today due to a call from a friend yesterday in her issues with unsavory forces in the Universe messing with her.
